Help support The Transition House programs by donating needed items

As a nonprofit organization, The Transition House and all of its programs rely heavily on the support of the community that surrounds us. Whether we are receiving physical donations, monetary donations or the donation of time, the generosity of our donors fuels our ability to impact the lives of those who are in need.

From our residential programs to our Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program, we are constantly in need of donations in order to run successful programs. Our permanent supportive housing program (SSVF) is combating homelessness by providing resources for families and the next generation so they are equipped with the skills and resources to live successful and happy lives.

To help these families, we offer the following services:

• Annual Assessment of Service Needs
• Targeted Case Management (as needed)
• Education Services
• Employment Assistance and Job Training Access
• Life Skills Training (as needed)
• Mental Health Services
• Substance Abuse Treatment Services (as needed)

As with all of our programs, our end goal is to empower our clients to meet their personal goals. But we need your help in the process. Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) would like to start-up a donation collection. Once our clients are placed in their new homes, start-up kits are greatly needed. These are simple, everyday items that help the beginning process of obtaining the items for a home, such as cleaning supplies, bathroom supplies, personal hygiene products, kitchen items and things of that nature.

If you can donate any of the following items, we encourage you to contact our office at 407-892-5700 (extensions 111, 148, 149 and 150) to receive information on how we can pick up your donation items, or you may drop off the items at our office. Your support is truly appreciated!
