It’s that time of year when we count our blessings and make sure to give back to those in need. At The Transition House, we are never short of individuals who give their valuable time and resources to our clients. For the second year in a row, Axiom Bank will bring their financial expertise and a Thanksgiving meal to the residents of The Transition House in St. Cloud.
Axiom Bank, which is headquartered in Central Florida, is a federally chartered community bank that serves the financial needs of its customers through a wide range of financial products. Axiom provides retail banking services, including checking, deposit, and money market accounts, through 20 branch locations, 19 of which are inside Walmart Supercenters. Axiom also specializes in commercial loans for real estate and business purposes, as well as treasury management and other merchant services. In addition to that, Axiom Bank sponsors prepaid debit card programs offered by third‐party program managers. Axioms strives to expand the services and products that it provides to the communities in Central Florida. One of Axiom’s main focuses is providing financial services to underbanked communities.
Axiom employees have continued to pay The Transition House residents monthly visits, like in 2015. From setting up checking accounts to financial planning to improve their credit scores, the skills Axiom Bank provides our residents with can help change their lives. It can’t be stressed enough how important preparing our residents for life after rehabilitation can be. Preparation is the difference between a successful transition back into the real world and relapse.
This Thanksgiving, Axiom will be bringing more than just advice to the men who live in our communal living facility at our administrative headquarters in St. Cloud. They’re also bringing all the food and supplies to help our residents enjoy this holiday and truly count their many blessings.
Thank you again to Axiom Bank for its generous donations and invaluable services. If you would like to donate your time or resources to The Transition House, we always welcome volunteers!
